What an absolute gem of a place! I loved relaxing in the beautiful garden area with its comfy loungers and stunning views. The cozy seating made it feel like home. The only hiccup was the outlets being a bit loose, which made charging my devices tricky, but it didn’t ruin my stay at all. 😄

The unique charm of El Balcon captivated us, especially the
beautiful courtyard and the serene ambiance. The attention to detail in the decor was impressive, and we truly appreciated the warm hospitality from the staff. The location was very convenient for exploring the sites, albeit it involved a bit of uphill walking.

Charming stay with delightful touches
We enjoyed a stunning room with breathtaking views and charming decor. The staff were warm and welcoming, offering great tea service at any hour, and breakfast included a lovely variety.
However, the restaurant menu was limited, and we found ourselves needing to venture out for dinner after one unsatisfactory meal. One early morning, loud neighbors interrupted our rest.

The meals in the restaurant were delicious and a full breakfast was provided.
During my stay, the noise from neighboring rooms was unbearable, especially early in the morning. I found myself waking up at 4 am more than once due to loud knocks and footsteps. Additionally, the location, while beautiful, involved a significant uphill trek to get to the center of Cusco, which became exhausting quickly.

the street noise was unbearable and my sleep was ruined. quite inconsiderate from a hotel of this caliber. also, after I dealt with some serious billing issues, a complimentary breakfast would’ve been a nice touch, but I guess that’s too much to ask. almost thought of giving a decent review, but just couldn’t.

The Twin Room with Garden View was a bit of a letdown. The bed had bugs, which was a huge bummer! Only two plug points, one was broken, so charging was a struggle. But it had a heater and a cozy vibe overall. I wouldn't say it was the worst, just not ideal for comfort.

The property features beautiful Inca stone work and colonial balustrades, creating a historic and authentically Peruvian atmosphere. The staff is exceptionally helpful, exemplified by Maria at the reception who coordinated transportation for our family seamlessly. The daily breakfast included delicious options, and the overall maintenance of the grounds and rooms was impressive, contributing to a peaceful stay.
The restaurant food was just average.

We had a cozy stay with our young baby, enjoying the lovely courtyard with charming wooden doors and beautiful views from the balcony. The breakfast was outstanding, featuring fresh fruit and made-to-order eggs, which became a highlight for my family during our visit.
My kids wished for easier access to the street. It would be great if the hotel could offer more accessible facilities for families with young ones.
